Fertilization Services
Fertilization is an often-neglected part of lawn care. Personal
Touch Lawn Care puts each lawn on a customized fertility plan
to promote healthy grass, eliminate weeds, and control insects
and disease.
If a turf problem occurs in a yard, we can remedy the problem
and restore the grass to health. Our management techniques are
proven.
Throughout the year, Personal Touch treats each lawn with five
fertilization applications.
- February: The first pre-emergent treatment
is applied, which helps prevent spring weeds.
- April: The
second pre-emergent treatment is applied, which includes
fertilizer that prevents summer weeds and greens up the
turf.
- June: A high-nitrogen fertilizer is applied to maintain
the green grass throughout the summer.
- August: A balanced application
of fertilizer is used to promote the overall health of the
turf.
- October: A fall pre-emergent with winterizer is applied,
which prevents winter weeds and prepares the turf for the
winter season.
Aeration Services
Aeration, which helps oxygenate the roots of the turf and
relieve compaction of the soil, is part of our fertilization
plan. Aeration occurs in the spring for Bermuda and Zoysia;
for Fescue, aeration occurs in the fall along with overseeding.
